Insieme terms of use
DRAFT — to be reviewed by a lawyer. This text describes how the app works today, taken from the code, and the product's intentions (docs/PLAN.md, docs/ROADMAP.md). It is not yet valid: every point marked [TO BE VERIFIED] must be decided or confirmed by the founder or the lawyer before the beta. The placeholders in square brackets must be filled in.
Translation of the Italian text; the Italian version prevails.
Version: 2026-10-bozza-4
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Who we are and what you accept
Insieme (working name, decision D1) is offered by [CONTROLLER: name or company name, address, VAT number, decision D12]. By using the app you accept these terms. How we process personal data is explained in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of this acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
Insieme helps a family remember what needs doing: you can write or send a message, a photo or a PDF; an assistant based on artificial intelligence proposes something to remember, with a date and a person responsible; you confirm or change it; the app sends the reminders and an evening summary to the right person.
The app does not move money: for payment deadlines it reminds you of the date and the amount, but you pay through the original channel (bank, post office, website). You can note visits, vaccines and medicines as things with a date and a person who takes care of them, but Insieme is only a reminder. What Insieme does not do: no medical advice, no doses, no interaction checks, no vaccination schedule. It does not give legal or tax advice either. For doses, treatments and vaccines ask your doctor or paediatrician.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 years old. The exception is a teen from 14 (the age of digital consent in Italy) to whom a parent who is an admin of the family gives a "teen" account: they see and change only their own things, as the Notice explains. Under 14 there is no account. [TO BE VERIFIED with the lawyer: minimum age and the role of parents who enter their children's data and give a teen an account.]
- You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code. You are responsible for who has access to your email and your phone.
- In the current version the family has only members (and admins). There are no invitations for observers or babysitters.
- Only invite people you know and who agree. Anyone who receives the invitation code (valid for 7 days) can join the family: share it only with the right person.
4. Families, roles and data
- Whoever creates the family is its admin. Admins can invite, promote other admins and remove members, change the choices for the whole family (such as “Help improve reading”) and delete the family.
- All members can see the family's things to do, the people added and the members' names, and can confirm, edit and complete them.
- The family's data belongs to the family. We process it to provide you with the service, as explained in the Notice. You are responsible for what you enter.
- If you enter data about other people (children, grandparents, other parents), make sure you are allowed to do so and respect their privacy. We recommend using only the first name of minors and not writing sensitive data (for example health data) in titles: titles appear in notifications.
- Do not forward other people's conversations without their consent. Insieme reads only what you send.
5. The assistant (artificial intelligence)
- The assistant can make mistakes: a date, an amount, a person. That is why it proposes and you confirm. Always check before confirming. If a deadline is important, also verify it against the original message.
- If the “To confirm” label is shown, the item does not generate reminders until you confirm it.
- The text, photo or PDF you send is passed to the assistant's provider (or, if it does not answer, to the fallback one) to be read, as explained in the Notice. It is not used to train models.
- Use is limited. On the free plan it is 10 readings per month per family; on the paid plan 150 per month (reasonable use). On every plan there is also a maximum of 25 readings per day and a monthly reasonable-use limit per family, and an overall monthly spending cap: if it is reached, automatic reading stops and you can always add things by hand. [TO BE VERIFIED: the numbers can be changed and must be confirmed before publication.]
6. What you must not do
- Use Insieme for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
- Send content that you have no right to send, or unlawful content.
- Try to get around the limits, to access other families' data, to overload the service or to extract data in bulk.
- Resell the service or use it commercially. [TO BE VERIFIED]
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
7. Plans and prices
[TO BE VERIFIED: the subscription is not yet active; this section describes the idea behind decision D9.] The basic plan is free, with 10 assistant readings per month, unlimited manual things to do, 2 adults, reminders and the evening summary. The paid plan has more readings and more members. Expected price: €2.99 per month or €29.90 per year per family (the yearly plan equals 2 months free), with a 30-day trial. The first 50 founding families can have €19.99 per year, paid on the website: the price stays the same as long as the subscription stays continuously active (a cancellation, or more than 30 days without a subscription, ends it) [TO BE VERIFIED with the lawyer]. Purchase goes through the App Store or Google Play (with RevenueCat to manage subscriptions) [TO BE VERIFIED], subject to the store's renewal, cancellation and refund rules. The right of withdrawal for digital content [TO BE VERIFIED with the lawyer]. Prices include VAT where applicable [TO BE VERIFIED].
8. Beta
During the beta the service may change, contain errors or be interrupted, and data may be deleted if an error requires it [TO BE VERIFIED: commitment to notify you]. We ask you for feedback, but it is not compulsory.
9. Availability and liability
We do our best to make Insieme work, but we do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. In particular, a reminder or notification may not arrive (phone switched off, notifications disabled, network, Apple and Google services). Do not use Insieme in place of legal, payment or health deadlines that you cannot afford to miss. [TO BE VERIFIED with the lawyer: limits of liability and clauses that do not apply to consumers, which cannot be limited by law.]
10. Your data and deletion
At any time you can download your data and delete your account or the family from the app, in “Your data”. What happens to the data is explained in the Notice.
11. Intellectual property
The name, the trade mark, the code and the design of Insieme belong to us or to our licensors. [TO BE VERIFIED: the trade mark is not yet registered, decision D1.] Your content remains yours: you only give us permission to process it to provide you with the service.
12. Changes to the terms
If we change these terms in a significant way, we will tell you and ask you to accept them again the next time you open the app. If you do not accept them, you can download your data and delete your account.
13. Governing law and contact
Italian law applies. For consumers, the mandatory rules of the country of residence and the consumer's home courts remain unaffected. [TO BE VERIFIED with the lawyer.] For questions: [CONTACT EMAIL — to be created]. The European online dispute resolution platform: [TO BE VERIFIED whether it needs to be mentioned.]
